Its important to make sure that the Heatn Bond is perfectly flat and that youve secured ALL the edges smoothly. When you load the paper in the printer, make sure you adjust those little clip thingies that keep the paper in place. I use medium cutaway on the bottom and usually nothing on the top when doing applique. I've already fused the Ultra Heat and Bond to the pieces in the kit. I have learned so much. At this point, just prepare and appliqu as you would normally. The applique is ready for the final stitch, and in this case its zig zag! Usually if you go in at an angle very carefully, you will just pierce through that top fabric. I thought the top stabilizer was needed to keep the stitches on top of the fabric.
